I have been debating ordering an efoil for a couple years now and finally decided to pull the trigger. This Lift3 electric hydrofoil is the third generations of efoil made by Lift and is quite the machine!

Battery runtime is up to two hours for lighter/smaller riders and around 90 minutes for larger/heavier riders. It is powered by a large electric rechargeable battery that is rated for 300 cycles. Is has a Bluetooth enabled remote control which you use for the throttle as well as viewing the remaining battery life.

Max speed varies depending on several factors including rider weight, board size, hydrofoil wing size(s) wind and so on.

The LIFT3 boards are made from a new proprietary carbon fiber blend engineered specifically for eFoil performance. They also feature enhanced carbon masts and upgraded carbon fiber electronic boxes. Lift Foils has always offered most durable eFoils, but the new carbon fiber build makes the LIFT3 even 50% stronger.

eFoil e3 – new board sizes

The LIFT3 boards come in four new sizes: 4’2 Pro (127 cm), 4’9 Sport (145 cm), 5’4 Cruiser (163 cm), 5’9 Explorer (175 cm). These boards feature an updated shape for increased aerodynamics and maneuverability. Combined with the upgraded construction, the new sizes reduce the weight by 30% making the LIFT3 boards the lightest eFoil options on the market.

LIFT3 – Dynamic wing options

Lift has also launched nine new wings as part of its 2021 lineup, including three of its acclaimed high aspect wings. Carefully crafted for effectiveness, stability, and performance, the wings attach to the eFoil mast. The shape of the wing changes the eFoil riding experience offering a true balance between efficiency and turning. All wings are interchangeable across the LIFT2 and LIFT3 and work for multiple foil disciplines, including surfing, eFoiling, or sailing, allowing Lift to provide the most customizable eFoil experience. 5' 4" eFoil Lift 3 board. 96 minutes of battery life for this ride for Dave. My friend is an expert snowboarder and did great learning how to get in the air on this 2021 eFoil Lift 3 board. Lake George, NY in Northwest Bay. The first few clip are every attempt and then there was some time in between without video documentation. A new world record for longest eFoil ride has been achieved! Our partners Mentagram / Lift Foils Thailand organized an event where five eFoilers rode for over 8hrs across 120km of open ocean.

The lead solo rider was Khom who rode from start to finish, non-stop, quite the feat for even the most seasoned rider! On the rider team was Joeyboy, one of our Lift Foil's Thailand professional team.

The riders rode from Ocean Marina Yacht Club in Pattaya to Surf Spot Hua Hin. Two of the riders were going individually straight for 8 hours each (solos), and three were on rider team that changed the rider throughout the journey.

Riding the Lift Foils LIFT3 E Foil in the waves with their Folding Prop allows me to foil these waves without using the motor its really amazing how well this works and how fun it is.

Flying above the surface of the water is an amazing sensation. Once you ride a hydrofoil you simply get hooked on the sensation. The beautiful thing about eFoils is that they're pretty easy to ride after a few sessions. In this video, the rare situation of no wind in the outer banks opened up the opportunity to glide on the eFoil with Jay Crawford and the crew from Outer banks Kiting.
Prior to this experience I had ridden the Lift eFoil in Lake Washington on a smooth water day for ~15 minutes and the Fliteboard on a rough lake day for about 45 minutes. Wow - that was fun but riding in the ocean swell was absolutely thrilling. To be able to loop from wave to wave. To catch any bump or wave that you wanted to was like a dream.

We have been so excited about getting on Efoils that it is unbelievable to think that our expectations were exceeded by the Lift setup. Easy to use and setup and the charge/run time was more than we needed with two units. With one unit being used by multiple people I can see running out of juice but with everyone using two it wasn't an issue. INTRODUCING LIFT3

Our next generation LIFT3 board lineup combines Lift Foil’s past with a look into the future. After 3 years of board design and extensive customer feedback, we have kept some of the features that were most popular while adding more maneuverability and freedom into overall ride, all while improving weight, durability and ride-time.

How did we do that?
We redesigned our edges and water release points for a smooth and stable ride on the water, making it easier for any rider to get started on a smaller size board. With a reduced length and decreased mass in the nose of the board, there is less swing weight when carving a turn from side to side so the rider feels enhanced response and more control. The result; a board that offers the best combination of stability and performance, and a whole lot more fun.

We also redefined the construction of our boards and while doing so, completely evolved the old processes of a 100 year old surfing industry into something modern and high tech. As we began getting deeper into totally new design methodology, we ended up saying “what the hell, why not.”

Our boards are built in highly refined steel tools used to forge carbon fiber parts at extreme temperatures and heat. This is a process that is used with the most luxurious and advanced supers, and we are the only eFoil company to use such advanced practices. The results are that of a unique marbled carbon fiber that is lighter and stronger than our previous models. Not to mention, it looks incredible.
